TTV photography!

I have been really excited lately to start working on ttv images and photography. I have been playing around with creating "through the viewfinder" images for a long time, since I love that old photo look it gives an image. It wasn't until about 1 a.m. the other morning that I finally figured out how to make it work.

I cannot wait to see what I'll be able to create with this technique. I've got a hundred idea in my head already.

Trust me, this technique is nothing fancy, but...is anyone interested in a tutorial? If so, leave a comment and let me know and I might be able to make a tutorial showing you the (amateur) way I did it ;-)

Sundown

I arrived on the mountainside a little too early for the full moon that evening — but hey, I was excited. This wasn’t just another full moon, but the blue moon of December 31, 2009 that I had been anticipating for quite some time. So I stood alongside this Arizona mountain, the air absolutely freezing. But arriving early was more than worth it, as I got to witness this spectacular sunset over the purple mountains and twinkling city lights that were just beginning to glow as night was minutes from falling. Between viewing this sunset and later watching the blue moon rise from behind rows of ancient saguaros, it made for quite an amazing moment.
